Annamma Baby

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Annamma Baby, who passed away on Sunday, January 19th, 2025 at the age of 82. Born on August 3rd, 1942, in Puthuppally, Kerala, India to T.V Thomas and Mariamma Thomas. She attended St. George government high school and graduated from CMS College, Kottayam, Kerala, India with a Bachelors in Physics. Annamma later moved to Mumbai for work and then to Cochin, India. Annamma worked as Sr. Technical Officer at Central Institute of Fisheries Technology. She was a dedicated and loving wife to her late husband Baby Brahmapuram, and a devoted mother to her children Priti Prakash Sankarathil and Priya Arunmon. Annamma Baby lived a fulfilling life and was a woman of many talents. In her free time, she enjoyed hand embroidery and sewing outfits for daughters and grandkids when they were younger. She enjoyed reading books, solving crossword puzzles, and learning new technology including different social media platforms. Annamma Baby was a kind and generous soul. She will be remembered for her love and compassion that she extended to all those who knew her, and for her infectious smile and warm personality. She is survived by her daughters Priti Prakash Sankarathil and Priya Arunmon, son-in-laws Prakash Sankarathil and Arunmon Jacob, grandchildren Reebecca Sankarathil, Mary Sankarathil, Abraham Sankarathil and Kevin Koottiyaniyil, and sister Chellama Mani Cherian and brother-in-law Mani Cherian. Annamma Baby was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and a brother. Rest in peace, dear Mom. You will forever be in our hearts and memories and will be deeply missed. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation on Wednesday, January 22nd, between 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 23rd, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s Malankara Syrian Orthodox Church in Warren, MI. Burial will follow the service and will be held in the Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to EHM Senior Solutions (aka Saline Evangelical Home), and envelopes will be available at the funeral home and at the Church.
