Rose M. Adams

The very best of women, mother, grandmother and wife, Rose Margaret Adams went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, September 15, 2016. Born June 20, 1935 in Ecorse, Michigan, Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Rose and Charles Piros; sister Margaret, brothers Joseph and Charles Piros, and grandson Nicholas Delabbio. Rose leaves behind the loves of her life, including her husband John Richard “Dick” Adams, her daughter Connie (Daryl) Delabbio, and grandchildren Juliette (Paul) Abbott, Gianina (Nikolai) Reichborn, Laurel (Micah) Swalley, and sister Catherine Ourlian. Rose is survived by loved ones Jill Adams and daughter Hannah, John (Lourdes) Adams, Orlando (Emely) Campos, and Alexa Campos. She also leaves many relatives and friends, whom she loved dearly. Rose graduated from St. Francis High School (Ecorse, Michigan). She married and was a devoted wife, mother, and active member of St. Timothy Parish in Trenton while living in Flat Rock. Rose graduated from Henry Ford Community College, and had a career in medical records and quality assurance, retiring from Heritage Hospital. With an especially blessed love, Rose married Dick Adams in November of 1987. Moving to Saline, they became parishioners at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church. Avid travelers, Rose and Dick vacationed many places around the world. Rose also studied to become a master gardener, and was an active member in the Saline Stone and Thistle Garden Club, enjoying her time with friends and volunteer work. Rose was proud of her Hungarian heritage, enjoyed cooking special recipes, sewing, and other hobbies. When one thinks of beautiful Rose; we remember her loving, kind, gracious spirit, and her great faith in spite of tremendous suffering. Rose fought the courageous fight, and displayed tremendous faith to the end, in daily prayer with a grateful attitude and a thankful heart. The family would like to thank all from the Redies Center at the Saline Evangelical Home, Arbor Hospice, and the staff at DaVita (Oak Valley) for your compassionate care of Rose. A Mass of the Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Saline, with Rev. Fr. Francis Mossholder as Celebrant. Donations in Rose’s memory can be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the Church where friends may begin calling on Saturday, 17, 2016 from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M.
