Anne Schnearle

Age 90, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2012 at her home. She was born on September 25, 1921 in Pobedim, Czechoslovakia, the daughter of Albert and Elizabeth (Valo) Liska. In November of 1941 she married Glenn G. Schnearle and he survives. Anne was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Saline and a member of the Washtenaw County Model T Club. She also loved to bowl and loved working in her flower garden. In addition to her husband, other survivors include children: James G. (Jane) Schnearle and Mary E. (Thomas) Robertson. Other survivors include grandchildren: Bobbi (Brian) Kunzelman, Jenni (Bill) Kerns, Kyle A. Toteff, Chad A. (Chelsie) Toteff, Andrew Robertson, 6 great-grandchildren, one sister Lydia Pribyl, sister-in-law Betty Beck, sister-in-law Ruth Schnearle Holliday, and one brother-in-law Carl Pribyl. She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Amy Schnearle Pennywitt, a brother Augustine Liska, a nephew Mike Karn, and a niece Susan Holdaway. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Saline with Rev. Fr. David B. Rosenberg, celebrant. Burial will be in the Lodi Twp. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Denise Weise or Brenda Masano who have been Anne and Glenn’s extraordinarily compassionate caregivers. Envelopes will be available at the Church and at Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline where friends may begin calling on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, between the hours of 4:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. and at the Church on Thursday, July 19, 2012, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass at 11:00 A.M.
