    Carolyn A. Myers

    April 22, 1968 - May 12, 2013

Carolyn Annette Myers (nee Sutton), 45 yrs old, passed away May 12, 2013 of cancer. She is survived by her husband, Verne; her sisters, Theresa Sutton, Mary Breijak (Sutton), and Patty Sutton; her brother, Peter Sutton; her nieces, Amy Breijak and Mia Sutton; and her nephews, Duane Breijak and Alex Breijak. Carolyn (Lino) was born and grew up in East Tawas, Michigan. She was the beloved youngest daughter of Raymond L. Sutton, M.D. and Phyllis Natiw Sutton, and the sister of Christine Burns (Sutton), who predeceased her. Lino attended Tawas Area high school and graduated in 1986. She was a member of the choir at St. Joseph Catholic Church, often providing guitar accompaniment. She moved to the Lansing area, attended Lansing Community College and held several jobs before moving to the Ann Arbor/Saline area. She worked in a number of fields as a secretary, administrator, and loan processor, most recently as the New Patient Scheduler in the Rheumatology department at the U.M. Health System. She was instrumental in developing and promoting an innovative pilot program expected to be used in hospitals nationwide. She touched and changed the lives of many patients and staff with her humor and caring ways. She was an accomplished musician, the fabricator of Faberge-style eggs and ornaments, a scrap booker, a baker and a quilter. She was most proud of her published poetry. Lino also worked with Verne on his animated comic series, The Brown Bomber. She wrote children’s stories and developed a greeting card line – Chups and Cheeks. Lino was the heart and soul of her family, and a beacon of joy to her many friends. She will be greatly missed by all. The family invites you to visit on Thursday, May 16, 2013 between 2:00 and 8:00 P.M. at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home 301 E. Michigan Avenue, Saline, Michigan 48176 (734) 429-9760.
