Age 61, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. She was born on April 16, 1955 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Richard Raymond and Alice Doreen (Windsor) Buffa. On June 11, 1977 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Warren, MI, she married Kenneth Lee King and he survives. Diane worked for the Saline Area Schools for over 17 years as a bus driver. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters and children, having tea time, and going on camping adventures with the family. Most of all she loved spending time with and taking care of her grandkids. Survivors in addition to her husband include their children Amanda (Adam) Edwards, Jeremy King, and Lindsey King. Other survivors include her grandchildren Jacob, Taylor, Harrison, and Wesley Edwards, sisters Sandra (Thomas) Kosztowny, Patricia (Timothy) Martin, Barbara (Carl) Meyer, and many nieces and nephews. Diane was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Alice. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Keystone Church in Saline, MI, with Pastor Frank Radcliff officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Oakwood Church or in Diane’s name to a charity of one’s choice. Envelopes will be available at the church, where friends may begin calling on Friday, August 5, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. A luncheon will follow at Christ Our King Lutheran Church in Saline from 2:00 P.M. until 4 P.M.
