Donald Phillip Neigum of Saline, MI, age 74, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 at his home in Saline. Donald was born in Rugby, ND, on January 23, 1947, the son of Phillip John and Ann (Schumacher) Neigum-Schall. On August 26, 1967 in the First Assembly of God Church in Ann Arbor, MI, he married Linda E. (Suiter) Neigumhe and she survives him. Donald was an active gardener, camper, and generally loved spending time outside. Donald lived his life with a solid work ethic spending a career locally at Ford as well as instilling that work ethic with his family. He also had a kind, silly, and mischievous personality that he exhibited to his friends and family often. In addition to his wife Linda, Donald is survived by his children Patricia (Thomas) Scales, Stephanie (Robert) Zillweger, and Annette (Christopher) Tellas and ten grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings - Jim Neigum, Loretta Neigum, and Margaret (Tony) Deibert. Donald was preceded in death by his parents Phillip Neigum and Ann (Schumacher) Neigum-Schall, step-father Michael A. Schall, and siblings Hans Neigum, David Neigum, Lorraine (Neigum) Kyle, John Neigum, and Robert Neigum. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Saline First Assembly of God Church, 300 Old Creek Drive, Saline, MI 48176. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Saline Area Social Services or to the family care of Linda Neigum, and envelopes will be available at the church. Burial will take place in the future in the Washtenong Memorial Park Cemetery in Ann Arbor, MI.
