Age 85, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. He was born on November 11, 1929 in Sterling, Illinois, the son of Frederick Carl and Grace Marie (Pyfer) Weber. On January 3, 1953 he married Lillian M. “Lee” Pine and they had been married for over 62 years. Don was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He was employed at Buhr Machine which eventually became Honeywell in Warren, Michigan. Retiring in 1982 after 28 years. Don enjoyed gardening, yardwork, woodworking and especially golf. His biggest joy was spending time with his family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Teresa (Charles) Hough, Peggy (John) Rice, David (Martha) Weber, Martha (Gary) DeLong, Peter Weber and Carrie Weber. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one brother, Milton C. Weber of Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. James E. Tuttle, officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Don’s name to the Huron Valley Humane Society or the Wounded Warrior Project and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
