Florence E. Heskett Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Age 83, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at her home. Florence was born September 29, 1929 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Hans Peter and Mary Cecelia (McGrenera) Jacobsen. On December 4, 1948 in Chicago, IL, she married Alvin Heskett and he preceded her in death on March 17, 1989. Survivors include children; Rick (Bev) Heskett, Bill (Linda) Ray, Sherry (Randy) Haas, Jim (Sylvia) Heskett, Kati O’Grady, Allen (Debbie) Heskett, and Bob (Sandy) Heskett. Other survivors include fourteen grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death in addition to her husband by her parents, two sisters Mary Ray, and Jean Jaso, and one brother Bill Jacobsen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Saline, with Rev. Fr. Francis Mossholder, celebrant. Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Saline. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pittsfield Senior Center. Envelopes will be available at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline where friends may begin calling on Friday, August 2, 2013 between the hours of 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and at the church on Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M.
