Garrick our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend. Although, we have lost a part of what makes our hearts whole with his passing, he will live on in our memories and through those whose lives he touched. His comedic and sometimes off-color personality will permeate our thoughts forever. (And he wouldn’t have it any other way!) Dearest Garrick, We will miss and cry and laugh for you every day. We promise to stay strong in order to honor your life and your memory. We are so proud of you in the relentless effort you put into accomplishing your dream of running track for the University of Michigan. Now, sadly it is time to stop running and be at peace. Please know son, that you have forever touched all those around you and that your brothers and sisters from the Saline Track Team will carry your spirit with them each day. And hold in your heart the knowledge that your siblings who were fortunate to have you as their big bother, protector and confidant, will stay strong and live as I know you would want, without regret. We love you my baby and you will always be my “little buddy” Until we can hold you again, Mommy & Daddy.
