Kathleen Marie Craig

July 11, 1971 - December 3, 2021

Kathleen M. Craig 50, formerly of Dexter, passed away on Friday, December 3rd, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer with her family by her side. Kathleen was born in Ann Arbor on July 11th, 1971. She graduated from Dexter High School in 1989. She went on to college and earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Cleary University. She worked at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Saline as an office manager and also did some accounting work on weekends at Materials-Unlimited in Ypsilanti. Kathleen enjoyed traveling- she visited Ireland, France, and the Holy Land. The U.P. (Upper Peninsula) was her favorite place to go. Growing up, she loved to fish at her grandmother's cottage on Lake Mary. She also loved to go deer hunting, hiking, kayaking as well as walk the Mackinac Bridge on Labor Day. She was an avid reader and loved music. Before moving to Milan, she was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dexter. After moving to Milan, she became a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Milan. Kathleen is survived by her mother Mary (Ehnis) Craig and brothers Jeffrey and Christopher. She is also survived by her Uncle Dan and Aunt Beverly, Aunt Jeanette, Aunt Sharon and many cousins and other friends. She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Craig, her grandparents Edwin and Margaret (Quigg) Ehnis, Norman and Helen (Taylor) Craig and uncles Dave, Jim and Joe. She was always willing to give a helping hand and never ask for a favor in return. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her, especially her mom and brothers. A Mass of the Christian Burial will take place on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Saline, MI. Fathers John Linden, Brendan Walsh, and Vincent VanDoan will be Celebrants. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation on Thursday, December 9, 2021 between the hours of 3:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline. A Rosary Service will be held at the funeral home at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will also be held on Friday at St. Andrew Church from 10:30 A.M. until the time of Mass at 11:30 A.M. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to St. Andrew Catholic Church, St. Joseph Catholic Church Dexter, MI, or Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Milan, MI. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and the church. Burial will take place privately in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Dexter, MI.
