Kenneth H. Guenther Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Age 78, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at his home. He was born January 1, 1936 in Saline, MI, the son of Norman and Mildred (Tower) Guenther. On January 1, 1960, he married Donna Guenther, and she survives. Kenneth was an active member of the Bethlehem United Church of Christ in Ann Arbor, and was a founding member of the Saline Lions Club. He enjoyed his time working with the “Leader Dog” Program associated with the Lions Club. Ken was one the kindest and most loving souls to walk this Earth. He devoted his life to his loving wife Donna, and loved his daughter Pamela “Peanut”. Ken enjoyed fishing and traveling to Florida during the winter months. He worked with D&C Plumbing and Heating until his retirement. Survivors in addition to his wife include their children Pamela (Roger) Wald, Grandchildren Brittany (Anthony) Buss, Taylor (Kathryn) Wald, Danielle Wald, Great-Grandchild Ryland Slone, and a sister Marilyn (Harold) Wachenhut. Ken was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline with Rev. Donald Hammond officiating. Burial will take place in the Lodi Township Cemetery following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Saline Lions Club P.O. Box 412, Saline, MI, 48176. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home where friends may begin calling on Friday, December 5, 2014 between the hours of 2:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. and again on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M.
