She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Nancy, Howard, James, and Richard Goetterman as well as her special sister in law, Cheryl Goetterman, niece Joanne Goetterman and nephew Howard J. Goetterman. Mary worked several years as a materials handler for TRW as well as in housekeeping and food service for McPherson Community Hospital, now known as St. Joseph Mercy Livingston. She was forced into medical retirement upon the onset of multiple debilitating medical conditions which she considered a blessing as it allowed her to spend time with and care for her son DJ, who was her pride, joy and beacon of light in her life. She enjoyed playing her online games and engaging in constant conversation via facebook with her huge network of friends and family. She also loved her time outdoors planting and tending her garden, canning and preserving the herbs and vegetables she nurtured there. Cremation and related services are provided by the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline. A memorial service will be held later in the year. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to be utilized for her final expenses.
