    Pamela Jean Losee

    December 8, 1941 - June 13, 2021

Pamela Jean Losee age 79, of Saline, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at her sister’s home, surrounded by her loving family. Pam was born December 8, 1941 in Saline, Michigan to Erwin and Nona (Milhan) Schmid. She married the love of her life, Jerry Scott Losee, on August 6, 1960, who preceded her in death on December 28, 1979. Together they had three wonderful children, Patrice, Scott and Brett. Pam enjoyed working alongside the family at Schmid’s Meat Market as a teenager. During her marriage she enjoyed being a stay-at-home wife and mother. After the passing of her husband Jerry, she worked as a bank teller for many years. Pam loved all and was loved by all. She had a smile and kindness about her that could truly light up your day. Her family was everything to her and she loved spending time with them, whether just visiting or taking trips somewhere. She enjoyed traveling with Jerry and their children to various motocross events and to Elk Lake each summer, working in the garden, canning vegetables, and caring for all their family pets, was just some of the things she enjoyed. She loved to be on the go and try new things. After retirement she moved up north with her partner Lany Beckington, where they spent many wonderful years on their farm and at their lake house. Some of her hobbies included line dancing and quilting, she made some of the most amazing quilts. Pam had a deep love for people, adventure, animals, the beach, and her country. One of the best ways to describe her is summed up in Proverbs 31:10-31, Pam has been a beautiful example of God’s love, and she is now our special angel. Pam is survived by her sister Barbara Ann Schmid Losee of Saline; daughter Patrice Lynn (Sean) Kane of Fort Mitchell, son Jerry Scott (Lorie) Losee II of Munith, and son Brett Erwin (Shannon) Losee of Marcellus; grandchildren Tajarez Losee of Fort Mitchell, Shayn (Bekah) De Los Reyes of Fort Mitchell, Jerry (Erin) Losee of Skandia, Mikayl (Ashey) Losee of Pinckney, Nichol Minder of Las Vegas, Lacey Laforest of Munith, Brett (Liz) Losee of Marcellus, Brittany Losee of Manchester, Warren Losee of Milan, and Tami Jones of Marcellus; 17 great-grandchildren, her dog Mowgli, along with many nieces and nephews. Her niece Robin Losee, sister Babs and daughter Patrice, were blessed and honored to be her family caretakers during the last several months. Pam was preceded in death by her parents Erwin and Nona Schmid, husband Jerry Scott Losee, and 25 year life partner Lany Beckington. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline between the hours of 3:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M.
