    Randall James McClure

    October 16, 1960 - April 23, 2018

Randall James McClure, age 57, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018, surrounded by loved ones at his home. Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Stefan, Shannon and Christopher as well as Brother David (Ginny) and sister Sherry (Jeff), former spouse Kendra, Aunt Tricia and Uncle Larry, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Special acknowledgement to Minette Perigard for the loving care, comfort and smiles she brought throughout his journey. Shana Logan, his hospice aide, and caring friend for the last year brought love and laughter during a much needed time. Randy was a devoted attendee and volunteer at NorthRidge Church. He was a major part of the sound team at the Saline location. He was actively involved in a men’s small group with loyal friends who continued to support him to the end. Special thanks to Brian, Ed, Paul, Chuck, Larry, and Brad for going above and beyond to show your love. There was an incredible amount of support shown by friends and family that made it possible to honor his wishes to be at home. Nature held a special place in Randy’s heart. One of his favorite hobbies was canoeing. This was a love that he shared with his children in addition to being active with the Wolf Pack Canoe Club. His son, Christopher has a fond memory of being dumped in a freezing cold river that he cherishes. Randy loved hiking, camping, exploring, and photography. A talented photographer, he shared this passion with his daughter, Shannon and taught her how to take her brother’s senior photos. Stefan shares special memories exploring aviation and watching air shows. Another favorite past time was being with his longtime friend and co-worker Ian Penhorwood at the Tri-County Sportsmen’s League. They enjoyed many hours in the fresh air and being in each other’s company. He shared this love as well with his children by teaching them how to shoot archery and firearms. A Service will be held at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home on Saturday, April 28, 2018. There will be visitation from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with service at 12:00 pm. Brother in Christ, Brooks Carlson, will be officiating. There will be light fare and fellowship immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Tri-County Sportsmen’s League or the Shana Logan educational fund. Randy had a special wish for Shana to finish nursing school. Please make checks payable to Sheryl Rainer and send to 5886 Bramalea Ave, Kentwood, MI 49508. To sign Randy’s guestbook, to leave a memory, or for directions please visit www.rbfhsaline.com.
